Green Wedmore is a community-led conservation group committed to reversing localised declines in biodiversity by pursuing political advocacy, educational outreach, and scientific eDNA research initiatives. The Somerset Eel Recovery Project, or SERP, is arguably the most impactful of its initiatives, in that it has succeeded not only in engaging a more diverse group, but in garnering support from important players in the eel conservation game. This book was provided to press contacts, influencers, and speakers who attended the first of its annual eel conference. It was produced as part of a more comprehensive press pack.
